교육 수요자 - 공급자 관점에서 EBS수능강의의 효과 인식에 대한 질적 연구 : 초록고등학교 사례를 중심으로 = Qualitative Study on the Educational Users -Providers Viewpoint about Effect Recognition of 「EBS SAT Lecture」: A Case Study of GREEN High School

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 초록고등학교의 학생·학부모들(교육 수요자)과 교사(교육 공급자이면서 수요자)들이 EBS수능방에서 이루어지고 있는 EBS수능강의에 대해 어떤 인식과 반응을 보이고 있는가에 대해 체제적 분석을 통해 탐구하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 대상은 학생, 교사, 학부모이며, 연구 방법은 문헌연구, 참여관찰 및 심층면접 등을 통한 기술·분석이었다. 그 결과, 첫째, 초록고등학교 교사들은 정부에서 실시하고 있는 정책에 대해 일단 순응하는 자세를 보였다. 반면에, 학생들은 EBS수능방에서 이루어지고 있는 수능강의 시청 방법이 자신들이 기대했던 의도나 방식에 맞지 않아 실망의 눈빛으로 외면하는 모습을 보였다. 둘째, EBS수능강의가 교육적 측면보다 사교육비 경감이라는 경제적 측면을 강조하다 보니 일선 학교에서 공교육 내실화를 더욱 어렵게 만들었다. 한마디로, 초록고등학교에서 EBS수능강의를 통한 공교육 내실화는 이상적인 공염불이며, 오히려 학생들의 교사 불신으로 인해 학교 내 교육 공동체 간에 새로운 갈등을 야기 시켰다. 셋째, 학부모들은 무료로 시청하는 EBS수능강의 내용을 어떤 식으로든 수능시험에 반영한다는 교육부 의지 때문에 EBS수능강의가 사교육비 절감에 어느 정도 효과가 있는 것으로 보았다

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the quality of recognition and reaction of students, parents(educational users) and teachers(educational providers and educational users), through system analysis, by which they would show during the「EBS SAT Lecture」at the「EBS SAT Loom」 in GREEN High School. Subjects in this study consisted of students, teachers, and parents. Qualitative data were gathered mainly through participants observation and semi-structured in-depth interview, and they were analyzed through focus group interview. As a result, The findings of this study were as follows: First, teachers of GREEN High School, at the first stage, showed a position of adaptability to the「EBS SAT Lecture」policy which was carried by government. However, students participating in the EBS SAT Lecture at the EBS SAT Room showed disappointment though they had expectation to it first. Second, because the Ministry of Education would approach「EBS SAT Lecture」at economic aspect rather than educational, I analyzed that it was difficult to normalize public education within GREEN high school through the 「EBS SAT Lecture」. In other words, normalizing public education within GREEN high school through the EBS SAT Lecture began with a good intention, but the consequence was vain. A New conflict between educational subjects within the school stirred up as students distrusted teachers. Third, parents thought that the EBS SAT Lecture was available for the cost-cutting of private education because they thought that the Ministry of Education proposed that the EBS SAT Lecture should be reflected in the SAT in some way or other. Fourth, students recognized that the「EBS SAT Lecture」did not include many questions pertaining to the SAT. I analyzed that「EBS SAT Lecture」 also did not help improve the academic achievement of the high school students.
