This paper aims to explain the combination of syntactic nominal affixes in Korean on the basis of its scope. A syntactic nominal affix of m o w scope precedes that of wide scope. In Korean structural case markers always added in the end of a noun phrase. Therefore a delimiter is not combined with a structural case marker in a general way, because it has wide scope(sentence). But on occasion it has narrow scope(noun phrase), a delimiter is combined with a structural case marker. And an inherent case marker precedes a delimiter in a general way, because its scope is narrower than that of a delimiter.
