창조교육 5단계 교수법을 활용한 협동력 신장에 관한 연구 = A Study on Enhancing Cooperative Abilities by Utilizing the Five-Step Instructional Method of Creativity Education

The image of the man who could meet the requirement of the future society is a competent person with personal competitiveness with which he/she can take an active part in the global business settings, and thus is required for being a creative man with flexible thought, creativity, his/her own point of view on issues and individuality. In order to develop creativity which is the fundamental nature of the human being, creativity education divides creativity into six natures such as a physical and physiological nature (the ability to be energetic), a social nature (the ability to be cooperative), an intellectual ability (inquiry abilities), a moral nature (the ability to do good deed), an artistic nature (the ability to be aesthetic), and a religious nature (the ability to love God). With the research subject of 『A Study on Enhancing Cooperative Abilities by Utilizing the Five-Step Instructional Method of Creativity Education』, the researcher made up the educational environment to operate the five-step instructional method of creativity education (idea-making-discovering-mining-realizing-developing), and then designed and applied a teaching-learning model with the application of the five-step method for sociology, and implemented teaching-learning practices for enhancing cooperative abilities, one of the six natures of creativity and next measured the creativity of students before/after the study by using a standardized creativity test. As a result, the students made improvement in an intellectual nature (cooperative abilities) and also in the other five natures to the significant level. It was proved that creativity education applying the five-step instructional method of creativity education has a correlation with growth in creativity. It is suggested that one should devote oneself to the relevant study in order to extend classes with the application of the five-step instructional method of creativity education to all subjects and make students get used to the five-step method so that they could achieve more improvement in creativity, the nature of the human.
