중도입국청소년을 둔 여성결혼이민자의 재혼경험에 대한 질적 연구 = A Qualitative Research to the Remarriage-Experiences of Woman Marriage Immigrant with Immigrant Youth

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study is to identify the remarriage-experiences of woman marriageimmigrant with immigrant youth. They were already mothers having experienced birth and parenting at home, wanting to not only parent the children of previous marriage but also have stable life. Those who have participated in the study came to Korea for working and therein met Korean men by relatives` introduction. Also they tried to find males for remarriage, thinking their children need fathers. In the process, remarriage partners were males who were more family-oriented, and seemed to nurture their children well compared to their ex-husbands. After remarriage, they showed the efforts trying to improve their children as well as themselves based on Korean husbands` supporting. Core category consists of “getting along with ugly duckling tuning into a swan”. Result analysis used oral data of 10 female marriage immigrants with immigrant youth and presented practical suggestions to social welfare program for this families.
