인구문제 및 가족계획의 지식과 태도에 관한 조사 : 경상남도 내 여교사를 대상으로 = A Study on Attitude and Understanding of Population and Family Planning

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The problem of population and family planning inquired for 200 female from primary school teachers in the province of Kyungsang Namdo.
There knowledge and attitudes on the matters are summarized as follow :
1. Sixty four% of them know the number of population on our country, and 94% realize that the population is increasing. But only 3.5% of them understanding correctly the cause of increase. It's good that the population problem has been taken up as one of the three national major projects.
2. Eighty eight% were in favor of the family should be established as a national policy, and 60% answered that the government family planning project are well conducted and adequate.
3. Over 90% understand properly the meaning of the family planning 66.1% said they compiled with the family planning, and those who didn't want to comply with the family planning were 52.2%.
4. Eighty% said they were willing to exchange opinions about the family planning with their colleagues. Over 81% gave an answer that they got information about the family planning form the family planning counsellors at the Health Center.
5. The methods which that interviews were applying were various. Those who use loops are 15%, and those who apply the method of washing are 15%, too. Those who make use of the menstrual period is the most practical method, are 43%. Therefore, active enlightenment and training of practical method are considered to be necessary.
