조택원 <가사호접(袈娑胡蝶)>의 무도기록을 통해 나타난 작품 특징 연구 = The research of production characteristic through the record of dance picture in Cho Taek Won`s Gasahojeo (袈娑胡蝶)

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The development of culture is a transition with social evolution of human being. We cannot consider that the present will be able to exist now without the history of the past and there is no creation activities without the trace of predecessor; therefore, I try to research Gasahojeop in Cho Taek Won as a new generation dancer. He was a forerunner who changed the traditional dance of Korea into the art of stage and inspired the art of spirit in the dance of Korea. Since there is a great relationship between Cho Taek Won and the new dance, I had to reflect upon the picture of dance in Gasahojeop. The Gasahojeop is a product which is staged the creation techniques from the traditional dance in Korea. The production has very clear message and subject. It is also important for us to recognize what is emotion of Korea and very popular method of dance, the manner of performance and how to express itself. The reason why I looked into the production is that I am sure the whole aspect of the production is of very importance in the development of Korean dance. Methods of the research are used by newspapers, journal articles, reviews, brochures and dissertations on Cho Taek Won. The autobiography and the picture of dance were analyzed through Kim, mun-suk, who is his widow, and Song Byem. A limitation of the research is a record only focused on the sequence of Gasahojeop. I hope that there will be a research of which part of dancer is moving, movement timing, high and low, direction presentation through the picture of dance in Gasahojeop.
