To study the influence of oblique wave attack on wave overtopping of rubble-mound structure a total of 576 three-dimensional physical model tests were carried out. Model tests were performed for measuring the wave overtopping under various wave condition, freeboard and attack angles. As the attack angle increased, the average wave overtopping volume decreased. The results of experiments are presented yielding a new empirical modification factor to describe the influence of wave obliquity on the average wave overtopping discharges of rubble-mound structure covered by tetrapods.
