In an effort to help multicultural families grow healthily in the Korean society, this study sought to explore how mothers from multicultural family feel cultural conflicts and how they build their identity. The subjects of the study were multicultural family women from Mongolia, who got cultural assistance from Y Community Center, S City, and of them, the study conducted around five times long intensive interviews two hours with Mongolian women who were available for individual interview. As a result of the study, it found that mothers from Mongolia, were experiencing much stress in settling as a multicultural family in Korea because of confusion of their self-existence and identity as well as cultural differences.
