박목월 시의 `자연` 제시 양상 연구 = Presentation of “Nature” in Park Mok-wol`s Poetry

The “nature” in Park Mok-wol`s poetry is methodically presented by a perspective that has internalized its subjectivity. In his poems, the objectively-presented nature is a poetic subject that coincides with the poetic speaker`s perspective. His poetry presents this nature through the structures of its form. Under the premise that acknowledges the distance between the nature and the poetic speaker, Park`s poetry maximizes and idealizes the nature beyond the poetic speaker`s perspective. By this process, Park`s nature is visualized and its hidden interiority is ventilated, imbued with a three-dimensional depth. The reason why nature is three-dimensional in his poetry is because the poetic subjects within Park`s nature are drawn by the way of synecdoche, and these subjects are woven together in responsive relationships. The nature in Park Mok-wol`s poetry is idealized and given a profound depth like that of East Asian paintings by these methods, and the nature works as the absolute standard with which Park`s poetic speaker measures the reality around him. Park`s speaker rejects the reality`s negative elements, while orienting himself within the reality towards the nature`s belongings. In such moments, the poetic speaker`s voice fully comes to the foreground. The nature that the speaker pursues is artificial, and is both “simple” and “collective”, which contrasts with the speaker`s individualistic attributes. “Family” and “Religion” are both structural forms with which collective and simple world is realized by, and the poetic speaker expresses his will to guard these essences of his poetic world.
