This thesis presents a design and fabrication of low pass filter for biomedical applications. The low pass filter consists of 0.5 V operational amplifier and 0.5 V operational transconductance amplifier. The 0.5 V operational amplifier utilizes native-Vth MOSFET gate-driven differential input stage and self-cascode current mirror structure. The 0.5 V operational transconductance amplifier utilizes body-driven differential input stage. Cadence Virtuoso is used for layout and the layout data is verified by LVS through Mentor Calibre. Low-pass-filter using operational amplifier is fabricated using 0.11 ㎛ CMOS process with chip size of 440 ㎛ × 100 ㎛. And low-pass-filter using operational transconductance amplifier is fabricated using 0.18 ㎛ CMOS process with chip size of 360 ㎛ × 205 ㎛. And operation of proposed circuits at 0.5 V is confirmed. Measured cut-off frequency of low-pass-filter using 0.5 V operational amplifier is 56 ㎐, power consumption is 29 ㎼.
