The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Hula-dance participation on physical self-concept and psychological well-being. For this study, 276 adult women who are participating in Hula-dance or not participating were sampled. Queationnaire were used, the data were analysed using correlation analysis, t-test, one way ANOVA, multiple regression analysis. Through the queationnaire analysis, following conclusion turned out. First, physical self-concept according to personal characteristic made meaningful differences in sports confidence and health in the area of whether persons have a occupation or not; in self-contempt in the area of whether persons have a spouse or not; in all the lower factors except endurance in the area of whether persons do volunteer work or not; in all the lower factors in the area of subjective health. Psychological well-being according to personal characteristic made meaningful differences in impotent feeling, the technology application and management of life and subjective judgement in the area of age; in difficulty of human relation in the area of whether persons have a occupation or not; 4 lower factors except subjective judgement in the area of whether persons have a spouse or not. Psychological well-being according to whether persons do volunteer work or not and subjective recognition of health made meaningful differences in all the lower factors. Second, Hula-dance participants recognise physical self-concept and psychological well-being higher than non-participants. Third, Hula-dance participant``s physical self-concept had an effect on psychological well-being.
