노년기의 사회적 활동이 부부친밀감에 미치는 영향 = 자아존중감의 매개효과 검증

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 노년기의 사회적 활동이 부부친밀감에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 자아존중감의 매개효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울시 복지재단에서 조사한 2010년 서울시 복지패널조사 자료에서 만 50세 이상의 유배우자 노인 1,992명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 연구모형의 검증을 위해 SPSS 18.0을 활용하였고, Sobel Test를 통해 자아존중감의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 노년기의 사회적 활동이 부부친밀감에 정적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이들 관계에서 자아존중감은 부분매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 이론적 함의 및 실천적 제언을 제시하였다.

The study focused on the relationship between social activity and marital intimacy of the elderly. A mediating model structured by self-esteem was used to verify the relation between the two variables. The data was obtained through the Seoul Welfare Panel Data Study compiled by the Seoul Welfare Foundation in 2010. This study analyzed 1,992 people over 50 years old. SPSS 18.0 was used as a research method and Sobel test was used to verify the significant mediating effect. The findings are as follows：First, social activity indicated significant effects on marital intimacy. Second, self-esteem functioned as a partial mediator on the relationship between social activity and marital intimacy. These findings suggest that The results of this study indicated the theoretical and practical implication to promote marital intimacy of the elderly.
