목회 윤리에서의 자기 관리 방안으로써 목회자의 상호 돌봄

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대 목회자는 윤리적인 어려움에 빠지기 쉬운 여러 가지 위험에 노출되어 있다. 이러한 목회자가 직면하는 어려움들을 해결하는 방법에는 여러가지가 있다. 이 중 목회자의 상호돌봄을 통한 자기 관리의 방법은 여러 가지 유익이 있다. 먼저, 상호돌봄의 방법은 성서적인 가르침에 순종하는 것이다. 둘째, 목회자 집단이 주는 동류의식과 이로인한 안전감이다. 셋째, 고결성 유지에 효과적이다. 넷째, 상처 입은 치유자로서 가장 효과적으로 상처 입은 목회자를 도울 수 있다. 이러한 상호돌봄의 자기관리가 필요한 목회적 상황은 여러 가지가 있다. 첫 담임 목회지에서의 적응, 개인영적생활의 어려움 극복, 스트레스와 탈진의 예방과 극복, 사역위임을 통한 평신도와의 나눔의 사역이 가능하며 이를 통한 교회의 활성화가 그것이다. 목회자 자기관리를 위한 상호돌봄을 위해서는 두 가지 기본 요소가 필요하다. 그것은 자조집단의 구성과 그 집단을 위한 멘토의 선택이다. 상호돌봄의 모임을 효율적으로 만드는 방법들은 다음과 같다: 구성원들의 헌신적태도, 함께하는 시간의 필요, 목회성공에 대한 건강한 피드백, 확신에 따르는 목회의 어려움과 자기혐오 극복의 필요, 그리고 권면과 충고의 필요가 그것이다. 하지만 이러한 목회자의 자기관리를 위한 상호돌봄의 유익에도 불구하고 상호돌봄을 저해하는 어려움과 방해들이 있다. 목회자들의 바쁜 일정, 무관심, 자기노출의 위험부담, 신뢰의 결핍 등과 함께 목회자의 건강하지 못한 자아상과 이로 인한 불필요한 권위의식, 그리고 한국교회의 양극화와 이로인한 경쟁이 대표적인 방해요소들이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 이러한 목회자 자기관리를 위한 상호돌봄을 실천해갈 경우 개인과 교회 모두에게 건강한 성장과 함께 하나님의 사역자로서 자신의 사명과 역할에 충성할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In terms of pastoral ethics, today’s ministers are vulnerable to temp-tation and dangers in the context of pastoral ministry. There are vari-ous approaches to manage those problems which ministers experience.The mutual caring approach has several benefits for ministers’self-management. Firstly, the mutual caring approach fits into the biblicalteaching. Secondly, ministers are usually very comfortable in the cir-cle of fellow ministers and the mutual caring approach become func-tioning well for them. Thirdly, it is very effective in keeping integrityfor minister’s inner life. Finally, as a wonded healer, a minister couldbe a very effective helper for healing the wounded ministers.There are many ministerial occasions which need the mutual caringapproach such as becoming the first full-time pastor in the church,struggling for spiritual life, preventing and overcoming stress andburnout in the ministry, delegation to lay ministers, etc.Mutual caring for the ministers’self-management requires two foun-dations, organizing ministers’self-supporting group and choosing thementor for the group. To make the support group effective includes mem-bers’commitment, spending time together, sound feedback in the caseof ministerial success, monitering the confrontation related to the min-ister’s strong stands and self-defeating behavior, and healthy exhorta-tion and admonition. However, there are some obstacles and difficultiesto plant the mutual caring system despite the several benefits of mutualcaring. For instances, busyness, indifference, aversion of vulnerability,lack of trust, deflated self-image and authoritarianism, polarization betweenbig churches and small churches, and competitiveness are those. In spiteof those, ministers who practice the mutual caring approach could befaithful and successful in their mission and ministries.
