다산 교육관의 현대 교육적 의의 = Modern Educational Significance of Dasan's View to Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문의 목적은 현대적 의미를 지니고 있는 다산의 교육이론에 관한 고찰을 통해서 다산의 교육관이 갖는 현대 교육적 의의를 밝히는데 있다.
다산은 오학과 천자문교육에 대한 비판을 통해 새로운 학문적 시각으로 새로운 교육관을 모색하였다. 그는 자녀교육에 대한 자신의 관점을 분명하게 밝힘으로써 인간의 인격교육에 대한 확고한 신념을 보여주었을 뿐만 아니라 인생의 올바른 삶을 위한 명쾌한 가르침을 제시하였다. 또한 그는 국가적인 차원에서 과학 기술교육의 강조를 통해 국민 개개인의 풍요로운 삶을 염원하였으며 급기야는 부국의 꿈을 이룰 수 있도록 헌신하였다.
이와 같은 다산의 진보적이고 실용주의 교육관은 오늘날 많은 갈등을 지니고 있는 한국교육현실에서 교육실천이 어떠한 방향으로 나아가야 하는가에 대해 올바른 길을 제시해 주고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this paper is to discuss about modern educational significance of Dasan's view to education.
Dasan's view to education include the new view of education in which the various new real teaching materials including Chines classics of Confucianism must supplied for a useful knowledge to a real life. Moreover, Dasan suggest the view of learning which put the importance to the learner's thought process and tried the view of education which integrated a cognition training and a subject solution method.
Such view to education attachs an importance to the educational reality and practice, and emphasize the importance of a scientific search and technology which provide a useful knowledge to a real life. Dasan insisted that this should be the major theory of education.
This Dasan's view to education has a meaning that it showed a problem about the direction of teaching. Dasan's advice to solve the current educational problem of Korea is that a practical and ethical education must be pointed in order to improve a moral ability.
