      Even if Change-over Error of between Alternative Current and Direct Current(CEACDC) occurs in the neutral section, AC/DC dual voltage electric cars protect the circuit by cut off the main circuit breaker through monitoring the power of catenary. However, if CEACDC and MCB cut off or power monitoring error occur at the same time, Protective system does not work. Eventually, It causes train service disabilities such as MF burnout or power cut off. In this study, a more effective protective system than existing system was suggested by analyzing related circuits such as Train Control & Monitoring System, Auxiliary Power Supply unit, Direct current Voltage sensor, Main circuit breaker auxiliary relay. As a result, It is expected that new protective system will be more effective in preventing train service disabilities such as Main Fuse burnout, DC arrestor burnout and power cut off the catenary.
