1인 창조기업의 자본조달 유형과 기업성과 = A Study on the Impact of Financing Type on the Firm Performance of One-Person Creative Enterprises

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 1인 창조기업을 대상으로 자본조달 유형이 기업성과에 미치는 관계를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 2015년부터 2023년까지의 1인 창조기업 실태조사 데이터를 활용하여 자기자본 또는 타인자본을 통한 자금조달이 기업의 재무성과(매출액, 손익분기점 달성기간) 및 비재무성과(지식재산권 성과)에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 자본조달 시 자기자본 비중이 높거나 자기자본만을 활용하는 경우 매출 증가, 손익분기점 단축, 지식재산권 실적 향상 등 긍정적인 기업성과와 유의한 연관성이 관찰되었다. 반면, 타인자본의 의존도가 높을수록 전반적으로 기업성과에 부정적인 경향을 보였다. 이는 자본조달 구조가 창업자의 경영 자율성과 전략적 의사결정에 밀접하게 연관됨을 의미한다. 즉, 1인 창조기업에 대한 정책자금 설계 시 자본조달 구조의 전략성과 창업자의 자율성을 동시에 고려할 수 있는 지원 방안이 필요함을 시사한다

This study analyzes the relationship between financing structure and firm performance in one-person creative enterprises. Using survey data from Korean official statistics spanning 2015 to 2023, we investigate the association of equity versus debt financing with financial performance (sales revenue and break-even period) and non-financial performance (intellectual property outcomes).
The analysis reveals that higher equity financing ratios or equity-only financing are significantly associated with sales growth, accelerated break-even achievement, and improved intellectual property performance. In contrast, higher debt reliance shows a general negative trend in firm performance. These findings indicate that financing structure is closely related to founders' managerial autonomy and strategic decision-making. The results highlight the need for policy support programs that balance strategic capital structure considerations with entrepreneurial autonomy in one-person creative enterprises.
