Full attention must be paid to the fact that his social position and new experience led himself to `Silhak`(實學). The fact that his Studies of Chinese Classics(經學) had a typical anti-Zhuxi and pursued to public profit was a result from this experience. However he never changed himself to ordinary people. He exposed that he felt sorry since he pursued profit as a scholastic status. But this should be interpreted not as his limitation of status but as that of a personal taste. He never gave up his passion to pursue scholastic and writing activities in his whole life although suffering from social position and poverty. He wrote 110 books and plenty of articles. His writings was a breakthroughs in volume and contents of his time. In that point, his writings had its own place in 19th century history of Studies of Chinese Classics and history of learning.
