A cyberspace nowadays is becoming another place for a communication, ditching a cell phone behind. We check our media blog (also know as 'minihompy') at least once a day to see who have visited and left a message. And then we visit their blog as well. A various groups of new generations between 10s and 20s have their own unique media blog and a media blog is gaining popularity from even 30s or 40s due to this blog trend spreading over the internet. These personal media is now accepted as a cultural code that describes our generation outside a cyberspace. Blog sites on the internet are building UI (User Interface) in more various ways to attract more bloggers on the internet.The UI of 'CyWorld' and 'Naver Blog', two of the most well-known blogs were analyzed and each media's characteristics were summarized, categorizing each media to a public space and a personal space. Furthermore, how UI design affects users on the internet is also analyzed and researched. Each blog have been seeking a user friendly cyberspace design with its own strengths. In the case of 'CyWorld', it has more personal space. On the other hand, 'Naver blog' has UI designs with more public space.However, in terms of service, the boundary of Korean personal media is currently getting blurred. For example, planet is one of the new features of Blog. And Naver Blog is starting to provide features such as 'PhotoLog', various layout and colors. It is natural that competing companies implement each other's strength and become similar. It is predicted that personal media will be improving more in the future and only blog site that successfully integrates strength of each other, will survive. It seems that a personal media will be ongoing internet trend along with 'community', a group based media. Therefore, an effort to improve UI design is constantly required.
