중년여성의 자아존중감과 신체적특성이 헤어스타일 선호도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 = The Effects of Middle-Aged Women

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한글초록 : 현대의 중년여성들은 사회생활에서 많은 역할을 동시에 수행하고 있다. 중년여성들의 미적 이미지 구축은 사회생활에서 자신감을 얻고 개개인의 관계증진을 위해 매우 중요한 부분으로 얼굴과 헤어스타일에 의해 영향을 받아왔고, 특히 헤어스타일은 얼굴을 강조하고 인상을 결정해 주는 중요한 부분으로 인식되고 있다. 그러나 육체적 ? 환경적으로 제약 및 주위 사람들의 무관심과 소홀로 인하여 건강의 문제나 가치관의 상실, 근심과 좌절, 대인적 고립, 사회적소외 등을 경험하게 된다. 중년여성은 인간성장발달과정에서 볼 때, 인생의 전환점에 해당하는 시기로 자녀양육 역할이 감소되면서 잠재된 능력이 새로운 방향으로 전환하게 된다. 신체적 노화와 더불어 폐경이라는 생리적 변화로 인하여 여러 가지 신체적, 정신적 불편감을 수반하는 동시에 체력저하와 신체저하에 따른 나약함을 감지하기 때문에 건강에 대한 염려와 관심이 증가하는 시기이다. 또한 신체적 외모도 젊은 시절의 체형과는 달리 많은 변화를 가져오게 된다.여성은 그 스스로 외모의 조화에서 마음의 기쁜 감정속에서 그들의 삶과 자아를 인식하며 만족과 자신감을 갖게 되며 이러한 외적 동기가 아직도 우세하다는 것은 인간이 외부와의 접촉관계에 좌우되는 사회적 존재이기 때문이다. 중년의 시기에 경험하게 되는 이러한 변화는 자아 존중감과 신체적 특성에 따라 다르게 자신의 헤어스타일에 변화를 주게 된다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 자아존중감과 신체적 특성에 따라 현재 자신이 하고 있는 헤어스타일과 선호하는 헤어스타일이 다를 것으로 생각되는 바, 이를 조사 연구하여 미용관련 종사자들이 미용실을 찾는 중년여성의 신체 ? 심리적 특성과 선호하는 헤어스타일을 이해함으로써 고객에게 만족감을 줄 것으로 기대한다.본 논문의 내용은 다음과 같다.제1장은 서론, 제2장은 중년여성의 발달기적 특성과 신체적 특성에 대해 일반적으로 분류해 보고, 중년여성의 자아존중감과 헤어스타일 선호도에 대한 개념을 정리한다. 제3장에서는 연구범위와 연구방법을, 제4장에서 인구 통계적 특성에 따른 분류 분석과 중년여성의 자아존중감과 신체적 특성에 따른 현재헤어스타일과 선호하는 헤어스타일의 차이 및 만족도를 비교, 분석하였다. 제5장에서는 이 연구의 요약으로 결론을 맺었다

국문 초록 (Abstract)

영문초록 : Today, middle-aged women are playing many different roles in society. So it is very important to create their own aesthetic images, which are affected by their face or hair style indeed―particularly hair style is considered to be a significant factor in accentuating a face and determining an impression―in order to have confidence and improve each individual's relationship. Yet, physical, environmental restraints, and indifference or negligence of those around them make them to pass through various negative experiences: health problems, loss of value, anxiety, frustration, interpersonal isolation, or social alienation. Viewed from the growth and development in human beings, middle-aged women reach the turning point of their life, when their roles in bringing up their children declined and their potential shifts their course in life. Due to their physiological changes, such as physical aging and menopause, they may become unpleasant, both physically and mentally, and become aware of their own enervation accompanied by a lowering of their body and physical strength. For this reason, women in the middle years of their life are more concerned about, and interested in, their health. Moreover, there are a lot of changes in their body shape and physical appearance, compared with their younger years. The fact that women, even in middle age, tend to look at their own life and self with joyful feelings from the harmony in appearance with external motives superior to others, gaining satisfaction and self-confidence, proves that human beings by nature are social creatures who are dependent upon communication with others. Meanwhile, all those changes they may experience are likely to bring about change in their hair style according to their self-esteem and physical characteristics. Indeed, it seems that their hair style they've chosen are different from what they prefer, depending on their self-esteem and physical features, and this paper, therefore, investigated this likely tendency. Then, all employees engaged in hair and beauty care treatments could understand the physical and psychological characteristics of middle-aged women, and hair style they prefer―and hence they could give middle-aged customers satisfaction. Here are the contents of this study:Chapter 1 provides an introduction. Then, the following chapter deals with the general classification of developmental stages and physical characteristics of middle-aged women, and arranges the concepts of their self-esteem and hair style preferences. In chapter 3, the study region and method were described. In the mean time, chapter 4 analyzed the classification based on demographic features, conducting a comparative analysis of the difference between their current hair style and preferred ones, including their level of satisfaction with the respective hair style on the basis of their self-esteem and physical characteristics. Finally, chapter 5 came to a conclusion, providing a summary of the study
