막말~메이지초기의 왜관과 『관수일기』 = Waegwan and 󰡔Gwansu Diary󰡕 in during the Transformation Period

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 1865년 1월에서 1870년 윤10월까지 약 6년간의 데이터를 통해 귀납적으로 알 수 있는 부산 왜관의 모습에 대한 보고이며, 󰡔관수일기󰡕에 대한 사료 소개 및 안내를 목적으로 한다. 󰡔관수일기󰡕에 주로 기록된 것은 선박의 입출항과정과 인원 관리, 세견선 사절 접대 행사 때 역할 분담, 표류민 송환의 과정, 왜관에서 이루어지는 연중행사, 왜관원에 대한 인사이동과 포상, 왜관에서 발생한 범죄와 처벌, 특정 사건에 대한 훈도와의 대담, 쓰시마에서 내려오는 지시와 쓰시마로 보내는 보고 내용 등이다. 󰡔관수일기󰡕와 󰡔동래부계록󰡕을 교차 검증하면 당시 부산과 왜관의 모습을 이해하는 데에 도움이 된다.
우선 Ⅰ장에서는 관수 하라 타쿠에몬[原宅右衛門]과 반 누이도노스케[番縫殿介]가 관수로 있을 때 대마번의 정치적 상황을 간략히 설명하였다. Ⅱ장에서는 󰡔관수일기󰡕를 통해 알 수 있는 왜관에서의 행사 즉, 신년의 모습, 춘분 때 피안(彼岸)으로 1주간의 구관 산소 성묘의 모습, 7월1일의 세가키(施餓鬼) 행사, 7월15일 백중(盂蘭盆)때 구관 성묘, 8월 추분 때 피안(彼岸)으로 구관 성묘 모습, 그리고 개시의 현황 등을 살펴보았다.
다음으로 Ⅲ장에서는 왜관 구성원과 그 역할에 대해 󰡔동래부사례󰡕에서 파악하고 있는 구성과 󰡔관수일기󰡕에 나타난 차이에 주의하면서 소개하였다. Ⅳ장에서는 접대 과정을 살펴보았다. 입항에서 출항에 이르기까지 접대 과정에 관한 역할 분담은 흥미롭다. 아울러 초대면 날짜를 잡는(日取り) 일을 문안군관이 아니라 별차가 담당하고 있는 점, 하선다례와 하선연에는 반드시 동래부사나 부산첨사 혹은 둘다 참석하고 있는 점, 반면에 예단다례와 상선연은 전부 하행으로 처리하여 임관이 담당하고 있는 점, 상선연(上船宴)시 연회를 베풀지 않고 연수잡물을 지급하고 있는 점 등은 기존의 설명과 다르다고 생각되며, 언제부터 이렇게 바뀌게 되었는지에 대한 전공자의 분석을 기대한다.

This paper is a report on the appearance of Waegwan(倭館) in Busan, which can be inductively identified through the data shown in the 󰡔Gwansu Diary(館守日記)󰡕 for about six years, and aims to introduce and guide historical materials for the 󰡔Gwansu Diary󰡕. The Diary mainly includes the process of entering and leaving ships and managing of people, division of roles in entertainment events for Segyeonseon(歲遣船) envoys, the process of repatriating drifting people, annual events at Waegwan, personnel movements and rewards for Waegwan members, crimes and punishments that occurred at Waegwan, talks with Hoondo(訓導) on specific cases, instructions coming down from Tsushima and reports sent to Tsushima, etc. Cross-verification of 󰡔Gwansu Diary(館守日記)󰡕 and 󰡔Report of Dongraebu(東萊府啓錄)󰡕 helps you understand the appearance of Busan and Waegwan at the time. In the introduction, the political situation of Tsushima Domain at the time was briefly explained. In Chapter II, we looked at year-round events in Waegwan, which can be found through The Gwansu Ilgi. Next, in Chapter III, we looked at the members of Waegwan and their roles. In Chapter IV, we looked at the hospitality process. At that time, all the reply letter gift ceremony and farewell party were handled briefly and the commissioner(任官) was in charge. In particular, it could be pointed out that the farewell party did not hold a banquet but provided banquet miscellaneous items. It is expected that there will be a lot of research through the 󰡔The Gwansu Diary󰡕 in the future.
