지역주민 카지노 관광개발효과인지와 관광개발지지도에 관한 연구 = A Study on a Relationship between Perceived Casino Development Effects and Support of Tourism Development

This study attempted to examine relationships between Casino' development effects, overall satisfaction of casino development, and support tourism development from residents perspective in Kangwon Land casino communities. The survey questionnaires was developed based on the previous literature review and a total of useful 278 questionnaires was collected from residents in Kangwon Land casino communities. A factor analysis was applied to identify dimensions of residents' perception of casino development effects and multiple regression was employed to investigate the effects of casino developments, satisfaction of casino development, and support of tourism development. From the factor analysis, four dimensions of residents' perception of casino development effects were identified and the results of multiple regression analysis showed that those dimensions of casino development effects significantly affects residents' overall satisfaction and support tourism development. Additionally, the results of T-test and ANOVA indicated that there were significant differences of residents' perceptions of casino development effects according to gender, education level, and age. Finally, theocratical and practical implications related tourism development were discussed in conclusion.
