만문 『도세품경』과 한역 『화엄경』 「이세간품」의 비교 연구 = A Comparative Study of the 『Dosepumgyung』 Translated into Manchu and the Chapter of Leaving the World of the Avataṃsaka Sūtra

The purpose of this study is to compare the 『Dosepumgyung』 (度世品經) translated into Manchu in detail with the chinese version of the chapter of leaving the world (離世間品) of the Avataṃsaka Sūtra.
It was confirmed that the 『Dosepumgyung』 translated into chinese by Zhu Fahu (竺法護) became the main original text of the 『Dosepumgyung』 translated into Manchu. But the four language names of the 『Dosepumgyung』 are presented at the beginning of the 『Dosepumgyung』 translated into the Manchu and 'samandabadara' is a transliteration of the sanskrit word 'Samantabhadra', unlike other sutras in relation to the Avataṃsaka Sūtra in the 57th box of the Manchu buddhist canon. It can be said to be a point to consider when specifying the original copy of the 『Dosepumgyung』 translated into Manchu.
At the end of Volume 6 of the『Dosepumgyung』 translated into Manchu, there is a long verse recited by bodhisattva samantabhadra. This verse is also included in the chapter of leaving the world of the Avataṃsaka Sūtra. However, the chapter of leaving the world of the Avataṃsaka Sūtra ends with this verse. In the 『Dosepumgyung』 translated into Manchu, there is prose after this verse.
According to the results of this study, the last prose of the 『Dosepumgyung』 is not in the chapter of leaving the world of the Avataṃsaka Sūtra.
The reason why the 『Dosepumgyung』was included in the 57th box of the Manchu buddhist canon is to supplement the content that is not in the chapter of leaving the world of Avataṃsaka Sūtra. I think that this was one of the compilation regulations of the Manchu buddhist canon.
