In Milton, Milton descends into time from the illusory heaven of eternity in order to find out the real meaning of eternity. Eternity does not exist in transcendent heaven but in the present time and space. There are three gates leading into eternity in human body; forhead, bosom and loins. But they are hidden in the eyes of men. By finding the "eternal now" Milton opens the gates. This is the process of achieving self-annihilation. For this process he takes off his egoentric selfhood and encounters his own repressed desires(Spectre) and reconciles with them. Through self-annihilation the law of accusation and judgement which dominated the fallen history of humanity has been changed into that of love and reconciliation. Also the Urizenic past memory of fallen creation has been burned out and the imaginative moment of alive eternity is revealed in the present. This is the moment of apocalypse.
