한국판 다면적 공감 검사(K-MET)의 개발 및 타당화 연구 = Development and Validation of the Korean-Multifaceted Empathy Test

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 인지적 공감과 정서적 공감을 동시에 측정하는 다면적 공감 검사(Multifaceted Empathy Test: MET)를 우리나라 실정에 맞게 수정, 보완하여 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하고자 하였다. K-MET는 인물의 감정을 파악하고 그에 대한 정서 반응을 측정하는 기존의 형식에 더해, 맥락과 상황을 파악하도록 하는 사진 자극과 질문을 추가하였다. 예비 연구를 통해 주관식 문항이 포함된 인지적 공감 과제 26문항과 암묵적 및 명시적 정서 공감과제 각 20문항을 선정하였다. 학부생과 대학원생 33명에게 K-MET와 실언과제, 대인관계 반응지수, 정서적 공감척도, 사회적 바람직성 척도를 실시하고 신뢰도와 타당도를 분석한 결과, 세 하위 척도 모두 좋은 내적 일관성 신뢰도를 보였다. 인지적 공감 과제는 사회적 상황과 타인의 감정 파악 능력을 측정하는 실언과제와 유의한 상관을 나타냈고, 암묵적 정서적 공감 과제는 대인관계 반응지수의 하위척도인 개인적 고통 및 정서적 공감척도와 유의한 상관이 있었으며, 명시적 공감 과제는 대인관계 반응지수의 하위척도 중 공감적 관심, 개인적 고통 모두와 유의한 상관을 보였다. 이를 통해 본 검사가 인지적 공감과 정서적 공감을 신뢰롭고 타당하게 측정하고 있음이 시사되었다.
