글쓰기 활동의 분석과 교재 개편에 대한 고찰 : (군산대학교 <기초글쓰기> 교과목을 중심으로) = A Study on the Analysis of Writing Activity and the Reorganization of Textbooks - Focusing on the &lt; Basic Writing &gt; Course at Kunsan University

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고는 연구자가 2022년도 1학기에 진행했던 군산대학교 <기초글쓰기> 교과목의 ‘글쓰기 활동’을 중심으로 운영 현황을 분석하고 그에 따른 한계와 문제점을 파악해 보았다. 그리고 이러한 한계와 문제점을 해결하기 위해서는 현행 <기초글쓰기> 교재의 개편이 필요함을 대안으로 제시하였다. 글쓰기 활동의 한계와 문제점은 학생들의 과제 부담이 너무 크다는 점, 한 편의 글쓰기 활동이 체계적이고 집중적으로 이루어지지 못했다는 점, 주차별 글쓰기 활동의 내용이 중복되었다는 점, 주차별로 진행한 교재의 이론 내용과 글쓰기 활동 내용이 일치하지 않는다는 점, 교재의 글쓰기 이론 내용이 한 학기 동안에 학습하기에는 분량이 너무 많다는 점 등이었다. 글쓰기 활동에서 나타나는 다양한 한계와 문제점은 대체로 <기초글쓰기> 교재와 연관되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본고에서는 글쓰기 활동의 한계와 문제점을 해결하고, 학생들의 글쓰기 능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 현행 <기초글쓰기> 교재의 개편이 반드시 필요함을 제안하였다. 교재 개편안의 큰 틀은 이론 중심과 글쓰기 활동 중심의 구성이다. 제1장부터 제4장까지는 글쓰기 활동을 위해 필요한 이론을 중심으로 구성하고, 제5장부터 제7장까지는 워크북 형식으로 구성하여 실제 글쓰기 활동을 할 수 있도록 하였다. 교재의 구성은 실제 수업 계획서를 감안한 것이다. 이러한 논의들이 군산대학교 <기초글쓰기> 교재의 개편에 수용되고, 실제 강의의 설계와 운영에 적용된다면, 학생들의 글쓰기 능력 향상에 도움이 될 것이라고 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this paper, the researcher analyzed the current status of operation focusing on the ‘writing activity’ of the Kunsan University < Basic Writing > course, which was conducted in the first semester of 2022, and identified its limitations and problems. In order to solve these limitations and problems, it was suggested as an alternative that the current < Basic Writing > textbook needs to be reorganized. The limitations and problems of the writing activity are that the burden of assignments for students are too large, that the writing activities were not systematically and intensively carried out, that the contents of the writing activity for each week were duplicated, that the theoretical content of the textbooks conducted by week and the writing activity do not match, and the content of the writing theory in the textbook is too large to be studied in one semester. It was found that various limitations and problems appearing in writing activities are mostly related to the < Basic Writing > textbook. In this paper, it is suggested that the current < Basic Writing > textbook needs to be reorganized in order to solve the limitations and problems of writing activities and to improve students' writing ability. The main framework of the textbook reorganization plan is a composition centered on theory and writing activities. Chapters 1 to 4 are structured around the necessary theory for writing activity, and Chapters 5 to 7 are organized in the form of a workbook so that you can actually practice writing. The composition of the textbook is based on the actual lesson plan. If these discussions are accepted in the reorganization of Kunsan University's < Basic Writing > textbook and applied to the design and operation of actual lectures, it is expected that it will help improve students' writing ability.
