시민문화와 정부정책이 정부신뢰에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 이론적으로 개인특성 및 배경, 지역사회 특성, 대인신뢰·네트워크·참여 등의 시민참여문화 요인, 제도 및 정부정책 측면으로 구분하고 있는 정부신뢰의 원인 중에서 어떤 측면이 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 지를 살펴보았다. 특히 본 연구에서는 제도 및 정부정책에 따라 정부신뢰에 차이를 나타낼 것이라는 점에 유념하여 다양한 제도 및 정부정책 중에서 어떤 것이 한국의 정부신뢰에 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 기본적으로 정부신뢰에 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 것은 제도 및 정부정책인 것으로 나타났다. 지금까지 정부신뢰에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 시민문화와 개인특성 및 배경이 중점적으로 논의되었으나 본 연구에서는 지금까지 알려진 이들 변수보다 정부정책이 다른 변수보다 정부신뢰에 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 이것 은 정부가 제도 및 정책을 어떻게 수립하느냐에 따라 정부신뢰에 가시적인 영향을 미친다는 대단히 중요한 결과이다.
