The exchange of product data becomes a key issue in globalized enterprise environment. But there is no clear solution to share heterogeneous information reside in diverse information resources. To share automotive product information among diverse organizations, a reliable neutral information standare and communication the standard for exchanging automitive product model through its whole life cycle. This paper suggests an automotive PDM implemented on the intemet based on STEP AP214 physical files containing differnt kinds of data can be shared on the internet using JAVA applet.
