대학 재학 중 비정규노동과 졸업 후 노동시장 성과 = Nonstandard Work in College and Labor Market Achievement AfterGraduation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated the effects of nonstandard work in college on labor market achievement after college graduation using the Korean Education and Employment Panel data. The results of the analyses of the female college graduates show that nonstandard work including temporary or part-time work in college increases the possibility of nonstandard work after college graduation. These results are the same whether or not location of college, major, grade, and parental education are controlled for, and may be due to the fact that nonstandard work in college does not contribute to the acquirement and accumulation of the skills and knowledge useful for standard work after college graduation. In other words, it is more appropriate to regard nonstandard work in college as a ``trap`` rather than a ``bridge.`` This study implies that minimizing nonstandard work in college through various means such as grants and loans and enhancing the quality of nonstandard work in college are needed for increasing labor market achievement of collge graduates.
