U-Line을 通한 化粧品 工場의 生産性 向上 事例硏究

국문 초록 (Abstract)

글로벌 무한 경쟁체제에서 제조업이 생존하기 위한 경영전략 중 하나는 고객의 Needs를 만족시키고 환경변화에 유연하게 대처할 수 있는 유연 생산시스템을 구축하는 것이다. 그러나 대부분의 화장품 생산라인은 비효율적인 I-Line (직선 컨베이어라인)생산방식에서 벗어나지 못하고 있으며 제조원가의 상승으로 경영이익이 감소되는 어려움을 겪고 있다.
본 연구에서는 화장품 생산라인에 TPS (도요타 생산 시스템) 철학을 이해하고 U-Line을 도입하여 생산라인의 혁신을 이루고자 하였다. I-Line에서 U-Line으로 변경한 결과 공정불량을 감소하였고 인당 시간당 생산성은 51.5%, LOB는 19.0%로 각각 향상되었으며 공간면적도 21.2% 감소하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

One of the management strategies to survive in infinite global competition is to build a flexible production system, which can meet customer needs and respond flexibly to the changes of circumstances. However, most of cosmetic production lines are still inefficient I-shaped lines, resulting in the reduction of management profit due to increased manufacturing cost.
In this master thesis, we analyze both the U-shaped lines in TPS(Toyota Production System) and some management innovations on flexible production systems and construct our U-shaped line. As a result from changing I-shaped line to U-shaped line, labor productivity per person and line efficiency have been improved by 51.5% and 19.0% respectively and the floor space required was reduced by 21.2%. In addition, the number of inferior goods has been decreased possibly due to the changed environment and job enlargement.
