국어 발전 기금 제도의 도입에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Introduction of the Development Fund for the Korean Language

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper deals the problem of the Korean Language, in which there are two kinds of main stream: the emphasis of Free to Choose and the emphasis of Language Community. The former supports to import foreign words or foreign elements, while the latter is against the import of them, which leads to the conflict in the Korean language policy. Considering FAST CHEONAN (which means the acronym of First, Abundant, Satisfied, Technologic; CHEONAN is local government belonging to ChungNam Province), the present situation of the Korean language used in Korean society forces the Korean language policy to be adapted to the changing situation. Based on this direction, this paper argues that in behalf of the need and want for the foreign words or foreign elements to be used, Korean Language Community collects the fee deriving from the violation of the Korean Language Com󰠀 munity's covenant rules, which leads to the establishment of the Korean Development Fund. Many kinds of demands for revision to the Korean basic law prevent law-makers from following the demands, while one kind of revision tends to be easily followed. The revision leads to the introduction of a new job, which is Korean culture evaluators.
