그림책을 이용한 총체적 언어접근법이 유아의 읽기흥미와 발달단계에 미치는 효과

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to prove the educational effect of whole language approach through picture book to see young children's change after practicing this program. This study is to know whether there are any differences between the activity of language approach using picture book and controlled group in children' s reading interest and reading ability.
The subjects used in this study were 75 children(4-5 years old) of one kindergarten located in Pusan. It used reading interest test and reading development test in the collection of data, and t-test and ANCOV A was used to analyze the data. Pretest-posttest control group design was used to experimentally determine the effects of this language approach program. By this experimental design, children in experimental group participated in the language approach program using picture book.
To this end, the research questions established in this study are as follows :
1. Is there a difference in Young children' s reading interest between two group?
2. Is there a difference in Young children’s reading development between two group?
The findings of this study were follows :
1. Young children' s reading interest was higher in experimental group with activity of whole language approach through picture story book than the controlled group.
2. Young children' s reading developmental stage was higher in experimental group with activity of whole language approach through picture story book than the controlled group.
These findings demonstrate that this language approach using picture book has effect on children's reading interest and reading development.
