고속도로 교통안전진단 연구, 2권, 2002(연구) : (A Study on Road Safety Audit for Freeway)

This project includes two working steps over two year's research. Two major issues handled in the research include "A Guideline for Implementation of Road Safety Audit(RSA) on Freeways" and "A Study on Improvement of Traffic and Road Signs on Freeways." For "A Guideline for Implementation of Road Safety Audit on Freeways," the work is classified into five detailed works. The first work done is to establish the concept and the implemental direction through existing implemented cases in foreign countries. The second is to organize domestic works or researches which have been done independently and to converge them into a national implemental direction. The third is to study the job analysis to identify implementation steps of RSA in Korean Freeways. The fourth is to develop checklists for RSA over freeways, which are under design, construction, and operationstages. For "A Study on Improvement of Traffic Control Signs on Freeways," there have been site specific and problem oriented diagrinsis of signs and signing systems on Korean freeways. Through tish study, it is possible to suggest the checklist for RSA. The focus of the checklist obtained from this study is on the traffic control signs of Korean freeways.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 고속도로의 교통안정성을 선진국 수준으로 강화하기 위해 고속도로에 대한 교통 안전진단 도입방안을 제시하고자 2개년에 걸친 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구는 2부로 나누어서 제 1부는 "고속도로 교통안전진단 도입방안 연구" 제 2부는 "고속도로 안전표지, 도로표지 설치 운영 방안 연구" 로 나누어 진행되었다. 제 1부에서는 "고속도로 교통안전진단 시행방안" 마련을 위해 첫째 외국 사례를 바탕으로 도로 안전진단제도의 개념과 방법론을 정리하였다. 둘째, 국내 도로안전진단 동향을 분석하고 이를 토대로 국내 도로안전진단 방향을 제시하였다. 셋째, 도로공사 직무분석을 통하여 고속도로 교통안전진단 도입방안을 제시하였다. 넷째, 교통안전진단을 수행하는데 핵심적인 부분인 운영중인 고속도로 교통안전진단 점검표를 개발하였다. 마지막으로 실시설계가 진행중인 구간과 운영중인 호남 고속도로를 대상으로 시범교통안전진단을 수행하였다. 제2부에서는 고속도로 안전표지, 도로표지 설치 운영방안 개선방안을 검토하고 이를 통해 구체적인 문제점, 개선안을 제시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 고속도로 표지ㆍ표시체계 편람(안)을 제시하였다.
