[제1주제 토착화 부문] 한국그리스도사상연구소 설립 30주년 기념평가 종합진단 - ‘토착화 부문’

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국그리스도사상연구소는 설립 30주년 맞이하여 일차로 문헌평가와 델파이 조사의 두 가지 작업을 진행하였다. 이 두 가지 작업의 목적은 그동안 해왔던 작업에 대한 평가와 향후 방향성 재고를 위한 토대 마련이다. 이를 위해서 한국그리스도사상연구소가 토착화신학에서 공공신학으로 방향을 전환할 것인지, 아니면 토착화 전문기관이라는 이미지를 유지할 것인지에 대한 논의가 필요해 보인다. 이미지 유지에 대한 당위성을 검증하기 위해서는 토착화 신학의 위상 자체를 우선적으로 검토해야 할 것이다. 이와 더불어 공공신학으로 전환하기 전에 교회의 공적 역할과 관련하여 한국그리스도사상연구소가 이바지해 온 부분을 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 이를 통해 구체적으로 공공신학으로 전환이 어느 정도 수준에서 요구되는지 확인할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해서 한국그리스도사상연구소 활동에 관한 통시적 연구가 추가로 요구되며, 생태신학을 참고하여 토착화신학에 대한 정체성 설정을 시도해 볼 수 있을 것이다.

Korean Christian Thought Institute
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Korea Christian Thought Institute, the first two works were literature evaluation and Delphi research. The purpose of these two works is to evaluate the work that has been done so far and to lay the groundwork for reconsidering the future direction. To this end, it seems necessary to discuss whether Korean Christian Thought Institute will change its direction from inculturation theology to public theology, or whether it will maintain its image as an institution specializing in inculturation. In order to verify the justification for maintaining the image, the status of inculturation theology itself should be reviewed first. In addition, it is necessary to examine the contribution of Korean Christian Thought Institute in relation to the public role of the church before converting to public theology. Through this, it will be possible to confirm at what level the conversion to public theology is specifically required. To this end, additional diachronic research on the activities of Korean Christian Thought Institute is required, and it will be possible to try to establish an identity for inculturation theology by referring to ecological theology.
