In order to elevate precision in metric photos, search the model using non-metric photos in photogrammetry, the method of error correction due to lens distortion was reserched in this paper.
The results of experimental analysis, in the case of symmetrical and asymmetrical lens distortion was, in the case of the metric photos, the error was minimized by the distortion coeficient K₁, in Symmetrical lens distortion.
In the case of non-metric photos, the error was minimized by the distortion coeficient K₁, K₂ and K₃ of symmetrical lens distortion and P₁ and P₂ of asymmetrical lens distortion.
By using the equation of correction as follows the validity of non-metric was verified in close Range Photogrammetry.
