World checklist and key to Indian species with a new record of Tiniocellus Péringuey, 1901(Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae) from India

The genus Tiniocellus Péringuey, 1901 comprises seven species, of which two are known from India untilnow. In this study, T. praetermissus Branco, 2010, is reported for the first time from India and from theAsian subcontinent. Diagnosis, description of male genitalia, specimens examined, distribution, andbiological remarks for the new record are presented. An updated world checklist and key to Indianspecies of the genus are also provided.
