국문 초록 (Abstract)

청소년의 범죄피해는 과거에서부터 현재까지 지속적으로 나타나고 있는 사회문제이다. 이미 여러 선행연구에서 청소년의 범죄피해 유형에 관하여 연구하였지만 범죄피해 유 형 중 재산범죄 피해는 많은 연구가 이루어지지 않았다. 청소년의 재산범죄피해는 그 규모가 성인의 재산범죄피해보다 적지만 청소년의 시기가 중요한 시기이고, 이 시기에 당하는 범죄피해는 사소한 피해라도 심각한 결과를 초래할 수 있다. 기존의 선행연구 들은 청소년이 주로 활동하는 지역인 학교 및 주거지의 무질서가 청소년 범죄피해에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것을 발견하였다. 하지만 청소년의 범죄피해 유형 중 재산범 죄 피해에 초점을 맞춘 연구는 거의 없다. 따라서 청소년의 재산범죄 피해의 원인을 파악하여 적절한 대책이 필요하다. 따라서 이 연구는 한국형사․법무정책연구원의 2014 청소년 범죄피해 조사 자료를 이용하여 학교 및 주거지 환경의 무질서가 청소년의 재 산범죄 피해에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 연구 결과는 청소년의 학교 및 주거지 주변 환경의 무질서가 청소년의 재산범죄 피해에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났 다. 따라서 결론을 바탕으로 학교 내에서는 학교 CPTED적 요소를 강화하고 주거지 주 변에 경찰의 순찰활동을 활용하는 방안과 관련 교육을 통해 재산범죄피해를 예방하는 방안을 제시하였다.

Youth crime is a social problem that has been continuously appearing from the past to the present. Although several previous studies have already studied the types of juvenile crimes, there have not been many studies on property crimes among the types of crime victims. Although the scale of property crime damage of juveniles is smaller than that of adults, the adolescent period is an important period, and even minor damage can have serious consequences. Previous studies have found that disorder in schools and residential areas, where adolescents are mainly active, has a positive (+) effect on juvenile crime victims. However, there are few studies focusing on property crime damage among the types of crime victimization among adolescents. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the causes of juvenile property crime damage and take appropriate measures. Therefore, this study investigated the effect of disorder in the school and residential environment on juvenile property crime damage by using the 2014 juvenile crime damage survey data of the Korea Institute for Criminal and Justice Policy. The results of the study show that disorder in the environment around the school and residence of the youth has a positive (+) effect on the damage of property crimes of the youth. Therefore, based on the conclusion, a method to strengthen the school CPTED element in the school, use the police patrol activities around the residential area, and a method to prevent property crime damage through related education were suggested.
