일본의 사무라이문화 국민서사 만들기 - 『가나데혼 주신구라(仮名手本忠臣蔵)』를 중심으로 - = Making National Narrative of Samurai Culture : Focusing on Chushingura(忠臣蔵)

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article considers Chushingura written during the Edo period in Japan, and analyzes the narrative. Chushingura is the narrative text based on GenRoku Incident, which was the group revenge occurred by 47 Samurais to revenge their master's falsely charged death.
The narration of Chushingura combined fictional characters and stories with the real incident. This fictional stories are mainly composed of emotional and sentimental commonness. And aesthetic of death of Samurai culture sublimate such commonness into the noble value. Narrative of Chushingura shows the mechanism through sign, symbols, and a aesthetic point of view. Through this process, Genroku incident was created into national narrative of loyalty. In this regard, the text Chushingura is the text showing the cultural discourse of Japanese Culture, and functions as the cultural mechanism.
