잭슨 폴록(J. Pollock)의 ‘드리핑(dripping)’회화 읽기 : 정신분석학의 ‘퇴행(regression)’ 이미지 = A Study on the J. Pollock's Dripping Painting with the Image of Regression in Psychoanalysis

Jackson Pollock's paintings were both praised and blamed at the same time from the many of art critics and art historian. Pollock was blamed in that he rejected the classic painting that is the realistic method technic in Art.
But Clement Greenberg insists that Pollock's the one of the greatest artist of the modern art in the America. Greenberg said that it is because Pollock is to seek for the flatness of his works in the dripping painting not seeking to the three mention technic of the art works as in the classic artist's works.
Pollock's dripping work is interpreted for the image of regressions with anxiety as defence machinism in the psychoanalysis. The reason why he appeared the image of the regression in his work is the anxiety with in his actual life. His anxiety is that he might be succeed in his life in the future as greatest artist.
Pollock's dripping painting is appeared the image of regression for defence mechanism in psychoanalysis as conquering anxiety of life. He's regression image is represented with similar to the kid's scribble image. Firstly, Pollock's works is the same to representing the image in unconscious mind with kid's scribble.
Secondly, his work's is similar to as in the placement pattern of kid's scribble. Pollock's all over painting is the same thing to the scribble with the image of shape full formed in the paper.
Pollock's painting is illustrated differently for classic works in case of interpreting psychoanalysis. In this study of Pollock's work by psychoanalysis, it will give us meaning in that we have proposed new method of art work's evaluation and art critic for student.
