      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      Fading simulator which simulates environments of real mobile communication channels was developed to find fading compensation method and measure system performance.
      In this paper, designed and implemented the device that can be simulated multipath fading situation in the land mobile communications. A realistic PDF(probability density function) of vertical spatial angle was introduced to Aulin's 3 Dimentional model, and induced fading control signals. The result control signals are useful to apply general purpose micro-processor and look up table method. Therefore, it is possible to design fading simulator that has comparatively accurate property using simple hardware.
      In order to estimate the performance of implemented simulator, simulation results were compared with criteria which is provided by the U. S. EIA/TIA document TR 45.3(IS-55). CDF(cumulative distribution function) measurements to overall Doppler frequencies range indicate good agreement with criterion. But LCR(level crossing rate) makes the serious false detection error problem by granular noise. Because it is the function on time. Accordingly, the exact LCR measurement was very difficult, but the results indicated comparatively good agreements with the theorical values.
