This study is to discuss a variety of technical details related to Badminton by means of feild Study and film analysis.
The subjects were selected among four Korean top teams and another four world top teams in the Ninth Asian Game, the the Third World Championships in Copenhagen, Korea-Japan Badminton tournaments, the 64?? Sports Festival of all country, World Championships in Japan.
The implications of this Study are as follows;
1.Trials numbers and ratio of main techniques world top team players tried smash 65 times (15.1%), drive 51 times (11.8%), under clear 43.3 times(10%), Push 39.3times(9.1%), while Korean top team players did smash 75 times(17.4%), under cut 65.5 times(15.2%),push 58.5 times(13.6%), and short service 50.8 times(11.8%).
This indicated that there was no difference in trial numbers and ratio Classified by the techniques of the two groups.
2. The players of both groups tried the main techniques in the ratio of 16% in terms of smash, hairpin and drive.
3. The ratio of successful trial in main techniques World top team players tried push successfully at the rate of 23.3%, smash 20.4%, short service 12.1%, and drive 11.7% while Korean top team players did smash 23.5%, push 19.1%, drive 13.5% and under cut 12.1%.
4. The ratio of failure in trying main techniques World top team players failed in trying push at the rate of 21%, smash 19.8%, drive 12.3%, and under cut 10%, While Korean top team players did smash 21.1%,push 14.5%,drive10.5%,and under drive9.2%.
5. The time required from the beginning of the game to the end of two sets was 27.75±9.57 minutes to world top team players, While 27.25± minutes to world top team players, While 27.25±3.77 minutes in case of Korean top team players.
