사회적 자본 요인 및 자원봉사활동 요인이 평균이상 자원봉사활동 참여에 미치는 영향 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Despite the importance of volunteering, the determinants of the above-average participation in volunteerism are still largely unknown. With few notable exceptions, volunteerism research has provided either a demographic analysis of volunteers or an analysis of the outcomes that are associated with volunteerism.
Among 1,989 respondents, 20.0%(398 persons) had volunteering activities in 2008 and the mean of volunteering hours was 6.72 per month. Among all volunteers(398 persons), 24.1%(96 persons) had above-average participation in volunteerism. The mean of their hours was 22.91 per month. Its three times as much as other volunteers.
This study examined the effects of social capital and volunteer context on above-average participation in volunteerism. The above-average participations in volunteerism are predicated by four variables(gender, having time together with other volunteers, volunteer education, volunteer role identity). Finally, the implications of sustaining volunteerism and increasing volunteer identity are considered.
