구조주의 비평에 대한 이해 = Understanding of structural criticism

Biblical criticism is an academic attempt to understand the meaning and value of the Bible correctly. Unlike historical critics, which presuppose that “man is the creator of meaning,” the structuralist interpretation presupposes that “meaning is imposed on humans.” Structuralism analyzes the autonomous meaning of the text from a more fundamental level by revealing all the laws and structural systems that languages combine with the linguistic reality inherent in the text. Under such a premise, the interpretation of the Bible based on structuralism must stay within the structure.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

성서비평은 성서의 의미와 가치를 올바로 이해하려는 학문적인 시도이다. ‘인간이 의미의 창조자’라는 것을 전제로 하는 역사비평들과는 달리 구조주의적 해석은 ‘의미가 인간에 부과된다’는 것을 전제로 한다. 구조주의는 본문 속에 내재한 언어적 현실을 대상으로 언어들이 결합하는 모든 법칙들과 구조적 체계를 밝힘으로써 보다 근원적인 차원에서 본문의 자율적 의미를 분석해 보이는 것이다. 그러한 전제에서 구조주의에 입각한 성서해석은 구조에서 이루어져야 함을 강조한다.
