한국 농촌 주민의 사회적 관계망의 구성과 기능 = The Structure and Function of Social Network among Married Men and Women in Rural Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The primary goal of this research is to identify the structure and the function of social networks among korean rural people. For this purpose, detailed data about the characteristics of social networks were gathered. Total 254 subjects completed structured questionnaire and obtained results were analyzed through SPSS WIN.
The major results of this study is as follow. Firstly, kinship is more important networks than non-kin relationship among korean rural people. Secondly, Women maintain more intimate relationships with kins than man. Thirdly, among korean rural people, as they bocome fourties, non kin relationships are more important than any other ages. fourthly, korean rural people think neighborhood more important than urban people. fifthly, if korean rural people have some problem to meet their kins, they contact their kins from telephone. Sixthly, the function of social networks is not high among korean rural people.
