지역하천을 탐구한 초등학생들이 형성한 환경소양과 지역생태계 인식에 대한 고찰

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 지역하천을 탐구한 초등학생들이 환경소양과 지역 생태계 인식을 어떻게 형성하는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구는 인근 하천인 방촌천을 중심으로 환경동아리를 조직하여 9명의 학생들을 대상으로 질적 연구로 수행하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역하천을 탐구하는 환경동아리 교육 프로그램 20차시를 개발하였다. 둘째, 지역하천 탐구 프로그램은 학생들의 환경소양 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 환경정서는 가장 두드러진 변화를 보였으며 다른 환경소양 요소에도 영향을 주었다. 환경행동은 특정 활동에서 나타나는 변화보다는 장기적이고 지속적인 관찰로 변화가 일어났음을 확인하였다. 셋째, 지역하천 탐구 프로그램은 학생들의 지역생태계 인식 변화에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 지역하천 탐구를 통해 학생들은 지역생태계의 과거부터 미래까지 시간의 흐름을 이해하는데 도움을 주었다. 맵핑과 주변환경조사는 공간에 대한 이해를 넓히는데 효과적이었으며 프로그램 뿐만 아니라 또래협력학습은 학생들이 애향심을 갖는데 영향을 끼쳤다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate how elementary school students who explore local Stream form environmental literacy and local ecosystem awareness. As research subjects, A group of nine students organized an environmental club for the study. The results of the study are as follows. First, developed the 20th school district environmental education program to explore local stream. Second, the local Stream exploration program positively affected students' environmental literacy. Environmental emotions have shown the most significant changes and have influenced other environmental literacy factors. Environmental behavior has confirmed that changes have occurred over long-term and continuous observations rather than changes in specific activities. Third, local Stream exploration programs positively affected students' perception of local ecosystem. Through local Stream exploration, students have helped to understand the flow of time from the past to the future of the local ecosystem. Mapping and the surrounding environment were effective in expanding understanding of space, and peer-to-peer collaborative learning as well as programs influenced students to be more receptive.
