한국어 학습 경험을 통해 본 한국어 능력 발달 사례 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중국인으로서 중국 대학, 한국 대학 및 한국 대학원 세 시기 총 6년 반 동안 한국어 교육과정을 경험한 본 연구자의 실제 사례를 중심으로 한국어 능력이 신장되는 과정과 한국어 교육에 주는 시사점을 연구하였다.
연구방법론으로 질적 사례 연구를 취하기에 연구 자료로는 본연구자가 교육과정에서 수행했던 과제, 진학자료, 성적표, 노트필기, 학습활동을 담은 사진 등이 활용되었다. 이 자료들을 바탕으로 세 시기의 교육과정 내·외 다양한 학습 경험을 기술하였다.
이를 통해 한국어 구사능력, 한국어에 대한 흥미 및 자신감을 그래프로 변화과정을 분석하고 한국어 능력이 신장한 것을 진단하였다. 마지막으로 사례 경험을 통해 학습자와 교수자 두 측면에 교육에 있어 시사점을 밝혀내었다.
본 연구자 한 개인의 실제 사례를 통해 추출된 시사점은 크게 학습자와 교수자 두 측면으로 나눠 살펴볼 수 있다. 먼저 학습자들은 한국어 학습에 있어 한국 유학과 같이 한국어만을 쓰는 환경을 경험하고, 다양한 활동의 참여, 과제 달성의 성취감 얻기, 논문 쓰기를 통한 저자의식 갖기에 시사점을 주었다.
다음으로 교수자에게는 한국어 교육에 있어 교육과정 초기에 학습에 대해 필요한 오리엔테이션 또는 입문 강좌의 개설 및 운영, 문학 작품을 대한 토론 활동 수업하기, 논문 형식과 사고도구어의 지도의 필요성 세 가지 시사점을 주는 동시에 교육적 아이디어를 제안하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper studied on the improved process of Korean language competence of the author focused on her practical experiences during the curriculum of Korean language in the Chinese university, Korean university and Korean postgraduate school lasted 6years and a half, which presented some implications on the education of Korean language. The qualitative cases were selected out of the methodological approaches, and the research materials were utilized from the accomplished assignments during the author’s curriculum, materials for applying for admission to the schools, the report card, notes, and pictures taken from her learning activities, etc. Based on the materials, various learning experiences from the curriculum interior and exterior during the three periods were described. The changing process of the command of Korean language, interest in the Korean language and self-confidence were analyzed and showed in graphs. Furthermore, her improvement of the Korean language ability was confirmed. Finally, the implications on the Korean language education were discovered through the learners’ practical experiences to the two aspects of the learners and the educators Through the practical cases of the author, the educed implications could be looked into two aspects, the learner and the educators. Firstly, to the learners, the implications for learning Korean language could be acquired from studying abroad and experiencing the environment that talks only in Koran language, participating in various activities, writing essays, feeling the sense of accomplishment in the assignments. To the educators, three implications for the education of Korean language could be got from adjusting the Korean language education with the learners’ necessity and concern, providing the chances of communicating with Korean people for improving the learners’ language ability, opening and managing the necessary orientation and introduction lectures during the beginning of the curriculum, supplying the assignments or activities which could attract the learners’ self-confidence and interests. Moreover, some educational ideas were also suggested.
