      The purpose of this study was to analyze the current status of child care practicum for prospective child-care teachers and come up with ways for its improvement. For this purpose, the current status on child care practicum was examined using questionnaires from 119 prospective child-care teachers. The questionnaire was developed based on literature review. Data analysis was conducted using frequency, percentile, F-test. This study discussed the way to increase the efficiency of child care practicum for prospective child-care teachers. The main findings were as follows: improving orientation for child care practicum, child care practicum curriculum, and itinerary guidance, selecting appropriate child care practicum institution. etc.
