대학생 외상경험이 자살생각에 미치는 영향과 관계만족도의 매개효과분석 = Mediating Effect of Relationship Satisfaction on the Relationship between Traumatic Experiences and Suicidal Ideation among College Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생 자살예방 서비스 개발의 근거를 위하여 대학생들의 외상경험이 자살생각에 미치는 영향을 관계만족도가 매개하는지 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전라북도 4개 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 912명의 대학생들을 대상으로 외상사건 경험과 관계만족도, 자살생각의 관계를 구조방정식으로 측정하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 연구대상자들 중단순외상경험자 21.3%, 다중외상경험자 20.9%, 대인외상경험자 11.1%로 나타났다. 둘째, 외상경험은 자살생각에 정적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 관계만족도는 외상경험과 자살생각 간의 관계를 부분적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 대학생의 외상경험은 자살생각에 직접적으로 부적 영향을 미치며 간접적으로 관계 만족도를 낮추고, 낮은 관계만족도는 자살생각에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과에 근거하여 대학생 외상문제 및 자살에 효과적으로 개입하기 위한 정신보건사회복지 실천방안들을 제언하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Research has established that a relationship between trauma and suicide exist. However the nature of the relationship and its dimensions are not well understood. The purpose of this study was to examine mediating effects of relationship satisfaction on the relationship between trauma and suicidal ideation among college students. The subjects of this study were 912 college students and subjects completed a test of trauma, relationship satisfaction, suicidal ideation. Structural Equation Modeling in AMOS 18.0 and SPSS 18.0 were adopted to examine measurement model and mediating effects of self-esteem by using Sobel Test Equation method. The results were as followings; First, subjects reported single trauma 21.3%, multiple trauma 20.9%, interpersonal trauma 11.1%. Second, trauma were significantly affected to the suicidal ideation. Also trauma were significantly affected to the relationship satisfaction. Third, relationship satisfaction partially mediated the association between trauma and suicidal ideation. Based upon these findings we suggested to develop comprehensive suicidal prevention program and the implications and limitations of these findings were discussed, and directions for future studies were also proposed.
