대안세계화 논의에서 네오그람시 이론의 기여와 한계 = 네오그람시적 국제정치경제학(IPE)을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 대안세계화 논의에서 네오그람시 이론의 기여와 한계를 논의하고 있다.
네오그람시 이론가들은 국제관계와 그 변화를 파악하기 위해 구조뿐 아니라 주체를 포함시켜야 한다고 주장한다. 또한 이 이론가들은 생산관계와 계급 등을 포함하는 역사유물론 관점을 제시함으로써 정체상태에 빠져 있는 국제정치경제학계에서 새로운 자극을 제공했다. 네오그람시 이론가들은 그람시의 지적 전통을 국제 관계에 적용시켜 국제 정치경제관계를 더욱 발전시키고 있다.
하지만 네오그람시 이론은 몇 가지 점에서 초기의 공언과는 달리 기존 국제정치 흐름으로 귀결되는 모습을 보이고 있다. 그럼에도 이 이론은 글로벌 시민사회나 포스트모던 군주 등과 같은 사상을 제기함으로써 대안세계화 운동에 나름의 기여를 하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article deal with the contributions and limits of neo-Gramscian IPE in the context of alterglobalization.
Neo-Gramscians contend to include the agent as well as the structure in order to comprehend the change of international relations and present the viewpoint of historical materialism including the relation of production and class etc. Therefore neo-Gramscian give an impulse to the deadlock International Relations / International Political Economy. They applied and developed the Gramscia intelectual traditions to the international relations.
But neo-Cramscians, in spite of initial avowed assertions, resulted in the return of mainstream IR/IPE.
Nevertheless neo-Gramscian IR/IPE contributed to the movement of alterglobalization by presenting the idea of global civil society and postmodern prince.
