The purpose of this study is to identify relations among self-identity, career consciousness and career preparation behavior of collegiate Tae Kwon Do athletes for helping their future career decision behavior by set up a hypothetical cause-effect model on the basis of precedent studies.
The research subject were currently registered collegiate Tae Kwon Do athletes of KTA.
This study used questionnaire which is composed of three parts. Consisted survey questions were reconstructed to better suited for this study.
To achive the goal, frequency analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, corelation analysis and multiple linear regression were used.
The research results are as follows;
First, collegiate Tae Kwon Do athletes showed different in consciousness and career preparation about independence, determinacy and career behavior by grade,
Second, future assurance of personal identity effects on career consciousness.
Third, self evaluation, have assure future plan and collecting more career information enhance the career preparation behavior.
Fourth, career determinacy should be clear to achieve the established career goal, check the tasks, make a plan for future, collecting various information and career preparation.
moreover, collegiate sports should meet the least requirement of athlete's needs, such as not only develop and supplement a athlete's ability to become a professional athletes, but also make them to have other abilities for preparing an ordinary life.
