족부질환 장애 개선을 위한 정형 신발 제품의 디자인 특성

국문 초록 (Abstract)

산업화와 인구 고령화에 의한 후천적 장애 인구는 꾸준히 증가하고 있으며, 이는 누구나 장애로부터 안심 할 수 없음을 의미한다. 특히 고령일수록 그 가능성이 더욱 높아지고 있다는 점은 인구 고령화에 대한 사회적 문제가 대두되고 있는 현시점에서 더욱 관심 있게 다루어야 할 사항으로 여겨진다. 이에 장애인에 대한 사회 적 인식과 국가적 제도는 물론 디자인 분야에서도 장애인과 비장애인 모두를 포용하는 변화의 움직임이 시 도되고 있으나, 정형 신발의 경우 제작 과정의 특수성으로 인해 제약이 따르고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 정형 신발 제품의 디자인 요소와 특성을 분석하고 최적화된 정형 신발 디자인을 구현함에 목적이 있다. 이러한 정형 신발의 구조와 이론적 연구를 위해 최근 25년간 출간된 130여 편의 지체장애인과 발, 신발, 인솔에 관한 논문을 고찰하였고, 관련 기관의 장애인 실태조사 및 통계자료를 근거로 국내 현황을 파악하였다. 또한 국내 외 60여 개 브랜드의 성인 남녀 정형 신발 제품 550개를 대상으로 디자인 요소를 파악하고 이를 토대로 특성 을 도출하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정형 신발은 특수한 발에 대한 보편적 측정의 어려움으로 인 해 타 분야와 달리, 유니버설 디자인의 개념 적용이 어렵다는 점을 이해할 수 있었다. 둘째, 디자인 요소 내 각 항목들은 장애인들의 물리적, 심리적 요인이 작용함에 따라 몹시 편중된 선호 양상을 보이고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 인간공학적으로 설계된 디자인은 용이한 구조로 제작되어 손쉽게 사용 가능하며, 일반 신발 보다 각 부분별 기능이 더 크게 작용함으로써 장애인들이 자립적으로 행동할 수 있도록 기여함을 알 수 있었 다. 넷째, 심리적 요인으로 인해 장애인들의 미적 기준은 비장애인들과 다소 상이함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 족부질환 장애인들의 욕구가 충족될 정형 신발 제품이 구현되길 기대하며, 궁극적으로 장애인 들의 보행 기능 개선과 이동성 증대에 따른 원활한 사회참여, 그로 인한 삶의 개선에 기여하는 데 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The number of people with acquired disabilities due to industrialization and the aging of the population is steadily increasing, which means that no one can feel safe from them. Particularly, the older the person is, the more likely it is to do so, the more interesting it is to deal with it at the moment when social problems concerning the aging of the population are emerging. For this reason, social awareness of the disabled and the national system, as well as the design sector, are being tried to change to include both disabled and non-disabled, but in the case of regular shoes, the peculiarity of the manufacturing process imposes restrictions. Therefore, this study is aimed at analyzing the design elements and characteristics of regular shoe products and realizing optimized regular Shoe design. In order to conduct the theoretical research on the structure of the shoes, the researchers examined 130 papers on delayed persons and their feet, shoes, and ratings published over the past 25 years, and based on the survey and statistical data of the disabled persons of related organizations, they grasped the current situation in Korea. In addition, the company discovered design factors for 550 adult products from 60 brands in South Korea and overseas, and derived characteristics from them. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was understood that the concept of universal design is difficult to apply, unlike other fields, because of the difficulty of universal measurement for special feet. Secondly, each item in the design element shows a preference that is highly biased as physical and psychological factors of the disabled work. Thirdly, it was found that the ergonomically designed design has an easy structure and is easy to use and contributes to enabling disabled persons to act independently by making the functions of each part act larger than those of ordinary shoes. Fourth, it can be seen that the aesthetic standards for disabled people are somewhat different from those for disabled people due to psychological factors. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that the shoe products will be developed to meet the needs of physically handicapped persons with foot diseases. Ultimately, it is meaningful to contribute to the improvement of the walking function of physically disabled persons, the smooth participation of physically disabled persons in society through the increase in mobility, and the resulting lifestyle improvement.
